I found in my collection of tapes, an aircheck of WCAW which had some jingles, promos, commercials and some news. I’ll post some of the audio on the Audio Memories page and hope that others might have additional material to contribute. There’s a contact link at the bottom of every page.

WCAW has had many formats since first signing on in 1946. In the 1960s it was a Top 40 station in fierce competition with WKAZ. By the mid 60s WCAW had become a country station. In later years it adopted Standards, Gospel, and Oldies formats. Consolidations and mergers in the broadcasting industry have put WCAW under the same ownership umbrella with many of its former rivals.
